Retrocessions in Liechtenstein

In his new article in the Trust Quarterly Review, Martin Hermann has published on the topic of retrocessions in Liechtenstein. In it, he provides an overview of how governing bodies can react to recent case law and legislative changes in Liechtenstein on retrocessions. This topic is of particular interest to trustees, as the Liechtenstein Chamber of Trustees recently published a legal opinion. This statement questions the danger of the liability of the sponsor of the governing body for retrocessions that were not requested.
